Mahesh Babu was born to Superstar Krishna and Indira Devi on August 9, 1975. Mahesh started off his acting career as a child artist. He acted in various films as a child artist and gained huge popularity at a tender age.
He made his debut as a lead hero with the 1999 film Rajakumarudu. It was a super hit at the box office and brought him the tag ‘Prince.’ After his debut as a lead hero, Mahesh gained a huge female following for his charisma. He delivered super hits like Murari, Okkadu and Athadu in the primary stages of his career.
The film that made Mahesh the Superstar is Pokiri, which was released in 2006. It was also the first industry hit for the actor.
