B’Town Talk: Prabhas Should Score A Hit

Though the film of Aamir Khan, Laal Singh Chaddha is not doing well at the box office right now, the Bollywood folks are not even worried about it. But then, they are concerned about three superstars who are struggling to score a hit in recent times and that includes Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, and our very own Prabhas as well. 

With both Saaho and Radhe Shyam disappointing at the box office, Bollywood folks who have become hardcore fans of Prabhas after the Baahubali series, are deeply worried now. They are expecting that both the films, Aadipurush and Salaar, which are likely to hit cinemas in 2023, should be great money spinners for the true pan-India hero. 

And then comes Akshay Kumar, who has been delivering some stunning blockbusters until last year. This year he scored a hattrick of disasters including Bachhan Pandey, Prithviraj and Raksha Bandhan. Bollywood folks are wondering why this box office spin machine is actually failing to deliver the right film at this moment. Akshay has almost 3-4 films lined up for a release in the next 18-24 months anyway. 

Similarly, one superstar who has fantastic fan following but no solid hit film to his credit in the recent times is none other than Ranbir Kapoor. With his Shamshera turning out to be a dud, movie lovers are now looking forward to his Brahmastra movie. Hope the fortunes will change for him at the least.
