Apparently with three blockbusters happening, now every Friday we are going to witness almost 3-4 releases hitting the cinemas. But then, it’s the content that should actually work but not the quantity of the films that actually matters. And it looks like Friday is already disappointing.
Not so many big movies, but Aadi Pudipeddi’s Tees Maar Khan and K Raghavendra Rao’s presentation PanduGod have been released today. While Tees Maar Khan is a commercial film that had its moments towards the climax, the first half is quite boring and routine.
At the same time, despite having so many comedians inside the film, director Sreedhar Seepana has made a crass movie PanduGod that is outright unbearable. Sudigali Sudheer is not even the hero in the movie, while Anasuya and Deepika Pilli’s glamour just got limited to songs.
At the same time, another film that has hit OTT platform today is Anand Devarakonda’s Highway. Even this crime thriller hasn’t sounded anything out of the box though KV Guhan’s visuals are terrific in some places than his direction talent. On a whole, the Friday is a bit disappointing for Tollywood after seeing superhits in a row.
