Nikhil-Dil Raju Incident: ‘Don’t Cry On Them’

Well, for the now, the media is getting blamed regarding the Dil Raju and Nikhil incident, where many implied that Nikhil cried foul on not getting theatres due to the mega-producer, but then, the producer himself clarified that he has asked Nikhil to postpone the film but then there is no foul play in terms of allocating theatres.

“When our film is releasing, surely we will ask everyone to postpone their releases and that’s what even Dil Raju has done with Nikhil when his Thank You is released. This is not a new thing in the industry” said Tammareddy Bharadwaja, adding that, “Karthikeya 2 team should feel proud that Dil Raju asked them to postpone their film, because it implies that despite being a small hero than Naga Chaitanya, Nikhil posed a threat to Thank You”.

“Dil Raju has no need to do politics in terms of allocating theatres. Because he is a person who has theatres and the theatres need a continuous feed of hit movies. Whenever a hit film comes, surely Raju tries to release that film in his theatres no matter if that is his own production or distribution venture, or not” Tammareddy further added. But why did Nikhil cry foul earlier that he is not getting theatres? “I don’t know who made which comments, but then, Dil Raju should not be blamed unnecessarily”, Tammareddy felt.

On popular foul cry that it is not right that three bigwigs, Dil Raju, Allu Arvind and Suresh Babu are holding most of the theatres in the Telugu industry, Tammareddy gave a strong counter. “If you have money, you can buy theatres and run the show. You can invest money and build theatres. So, don’t cry on Dil Raju, Suresh or Arvind garu, they are just businessmen” he articulated.
