First of all, we have to admit the fact that legendary director SS Rajamouli has upped the game of ‘graphics’ to an almost Hollywood level for the whole Indian film industry with movies like Baahubali and RRR. At this time, if the graphics in Telugu movies are very much like in the 90s, then it is going to be a problem.
It looks like the makers of Megastar Chiranjeevi’s films are yet to realize the importance of coming up with realistic graphics in this era of OTT where audiences got accustomed to watching some terrific visual effects. In the teaser of “Godfather,” one could notice that shot of Salman Khan and Chiranjeevi flying out of flames in their car and that looks quite inferior. The whole of the teaser is getting trolled for putting out such low-quality work on the pedestal.
Same is the case when “Acharya” was released when the younger version of Megastar Chiru is recreated through visual effects, but that looked quite unbelievable and substandard. If Megastar continues to come up with these types of cheap graphics further, then theatre-going audiences might lose interesting in the content he’s bringing up, isn’t it?
