Puri Jagannadh and Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger has been released and garnered mixed talk. The film is a love story set against the backdrop of Mixed Martial Arts with ensemble cast and it marks Vijay’s Bollywood debut too.
The Film Nagar buzz is that Allu Arjun and Ram Charan were two big stars who were approached earlier. Puri had initially planned to do Liger with Allu Arjun and somehow Allu Arjun couldn’t do it.
Meanwhile, Puri had also approached Ram Charan, say film nagar sources. Both these have missed Liger and finally the film landed into Vijay’s lap. Vijay took it to Karan Johar and the rest is history now.
Allu Arjun did Pushpa with Sukumar and which eventually too became a Pan India blockbuster and Ram Charan teamed up with Rajamouli along with Jr NTR and scored blockbuster success with RRR.
