Bollywood Nepo Kids failing badly in Tollywood

After Telugu cinema proved its mettle internationally, many Bollywood actors are interested in working here. In the recent past, we have seen a few Bollywood star kids making their Telugu debut. However, the experience is turning out to be bitter for them.

In 2019, Shakti Kapoor’s daughter Shraddha Kapoor made her Telugu debut with Saaho. Starring Prabhas in the lead role, Saaho ended up as a colossal flop. Even Shraddha was criticised for her performance in the movie.

Earlier this year, Mahesh Bhatt’s daughter Alia Bhatt made her Telugu entry with RRR. Though the film was a massive hit, Alia got a very minor role in it. Many people wondered why she accepted such a role in the first place. Thus, RRR didn’t help Alia in any way.

Now, Chunkey Panday’s daughter Ananya Panday came up with her maiden Telugu film Liger. It was released yesterday and is receiving mixed talk from the audience. Eventually, it may become a disappointing debut for Ananya.

While this is the case of star kids, other heroines with no background, like Mrunal Thakur and Raashi Khanna, who made their Telugu debut after their Hindi debut, have managed to click well down here. Thus, Nepo Kids are finding it difficult to do well not only in Hindi but also in Telugu.
