Your Love Is More Than Rs 100 Crore: Nikhil

During the success celebrations of Karthikeya 2 in Kurnool last night, Nikhil Siddhartha delivered a heartfelt speech where he thanked each and every audien for supporting his film and making his big success. He said not just youth buch families and all sections of audience have embraced the film and made it what it is today.

“The love I have received from audiences all over is more than Rs 100 Crore. People’s love is above the BO numbers. I’m really thankful for encouraging me all these years,” said an emotional Nikhil at the Kurnool event.

He said, “Baahubali, Pushpa and RRR have paved the way for Telugu films globally. Karthikeya 2 just followed their route and became successful in Hindi. It’s a Telugu film that became a huge success. A moment of pride for all Telugu people.”

Nikhil said even he had thought, “Nikhil’s film in Bollywood? Even you had thought the same right? I too thought the same. But things changed upon the film’s release, particularly in Hindi, it changed everything. Now, Karthikeya 2 is running housefulls in over 1000 screens all over the country which is a great feat.” He requested the audience to come to theatres and watch his film during the Ganesh Chaturthi festive season.

According to the makers, Karthikeya 2 has collected about Rs 100 Crore WW Gross including all languages which is a remarkable feat and thus becomes the highest grossing film in Nikhil’s career. The film has now been released in the UK on 26th August which is a delayed release but the response is very good. In overseas, Karthikeya 2 has grossed over 1.4 Million USD and is marching towards 1.5 Million USD.
