Liger: Janhvi Escapes Huge Embarrassment

Vijay Deverakonda’s Liger attracted negative talk right from the first show. The team promoted it well in Bollywood circuits and that helped in big openings. But the weak story and tiresome narration are not letting the run match its openings.

The Liger team is keeping total silence on the result. Not a single tweet came from Vijay Deverakonda or Charmee’s handle. Though the collections and talk of Liger are disappointing, Liger’s failure must have relieved one person. And she is definitely Janhvi Kapoor.

Liger team had been telling for a long time that they have tried to get Janhvi Kapoor on board as the heroine of the movie. Even Puri Jagannath also said that he had tried to bring Janhvi as the female lead for Liger, but it did not materialize due to Janhvi’s other Bollywood commitments. Puri revealed that after Karan Johar suggested Ananya Pandey’s name, he went for it.

Now, Ananya Pandey’s acting and role are being shown as one of the prime reasons for Liger’s disastrous output. Vijay’s fans are ridiculing her presence and performance in Liger. The fans of Janhvi Kapoor are relieved and so must be the actress herself for missing the female lead role in Liger.

Janhvi Kapoor is trying to pick some strong characters like Good Luck Jerry and Gunjan Saxena than being a typecasted glam doll in a commercial template movie. It has to be seen how Janhvi makes her debut in Telugu.
