Actress Amala Paul filed a cheating, and harassment case against her former friend Bhavninder Singh Dhatt. Amala Paul alleges that Bhavninder is cheating her in a business deal and threatening to upload her photos on social media.
Earlier, it was rumored that Amala Paul and Bhavninder Singh were married when the pictures of them came out. But later, Amala denied it and said that was just for a photoshoot. She also moved the court to stop him from posting those pictures on social media.
Amala Paul and Bhavninder Singh Dhatt started a film production company in 2018. After they parted ways, Amala invested hugely in the production company to make her recent film Cadaver. Now, Amala alleges that Bhavninder Singh Dhatt has created forged documents removing Amala Paul as the director of the company and cheated her. Bhavninder is also threatening to upload their pictures on social media.
Following the complaint of Amala Paul, the Villupuram police booked a case against Bhavninder Singh Dhatt under various sections including forgery, intimidation, and harassment, and arrested him.
