There were times when the comedian turned hero Sunil was the unique selling point of a film. He was a star comedian until he decided to continue as the lead actor. The decision did not yield the expected results for him, though he always worked hard in what he is doing. The past glory and the golden era he lost then, seem to be coming back to him now.
If the reports are anything to go by, Sunil will be seen in a very good role for Trivikram-Mahesh Babu’s next film and also in Koratala Siva-NTR’s movie. It looks like the star comedian is back and is going to enthrall us like earlier.
After his comeback to character roles, Sunil appeared in a small role in Ala Vaikuntapurram lo and Aravinda Sametha, while he tried his luck in Pushpaka Vimanam and Colour Photo in the serious roles. He hit the gold with Pushpa and also will be seen in Pushpa 2. Sunil appeared in a full-length fun-filled role of F3 and it unofficially marks his true comeback as vintage Sunil.
It has to be seen if he gets the right roles that we all love to see him in. If that happens, he will be enjoying the golden era soon again.
