Every year, Amazon Prime Video comes up with something or the other to beat the web series “Game Of Thrones” which garnered fame as the most watched TV series ever in the world. After coming up with the series “The Wheel of Time” which hasn’t done well, Amazon has greenlit the highest-ever budgeted series of their company’s history, a prequel of the famous “The Lord Of The Rings” movies.
“The Rings Of Power”, a web series produced by Amazon is getting streamed in almost 32 languages across the world and it became already a hot favorite for many Telugu and Indian fans too. The series deals with the story of a younger version of Galadriel (played by Cate Blanchet in 2001-03 movies), essayed by actress Morfydd Clark, and her chase about vanished enemy, the evil Morgoth clan’s Sauran and his orcs.
The first two episodes that are being streamed already deal with the worlds of Elves, Harfoots, Dwarves, Men and Orcs. The riveting narrative, edge-of-the-seat thrills, terrific visual effects and continued suspense with a bit of humour here and then, has made “The Rings Of Power” a super hit already compared to the competitor, “House Of The Dragons”. Looks like the eight episode Season 1 of the series is going to be a blast. Let’s see what the next 6 episodes will offer.
