We have seen star heroes in the Telugu industry who involve in the casting and other things related to money when it comes to a big film. Then there are heroes in Tollywood who are directly involved in the script and screenplay of a film, and also score blockbusters with their input. But such heroes are proving to be a curse for the directors who worked with them.

The role of Adivi Sesh in the success of films like Kshanam, Goodachari and Major is well known to everyone. With the actor being a graduate in filmmaking from a noted American university, surely his inputs are becoming very crucial and box-office winning too. However, the director of his film Kshanam, Ravikanth Perepu struggled to get a hit later, and now struggling to get a film.

Then comes Siddhu Jonnalagadda who is writing stories and dialogues for his films these days. His DJ Tillu director Vimal Krishna never got the attention and has walked out of the sequel of the movie, but is said to be struggling to find a film now. At the same time, Naveen Polishetty is also writing the screenplay and giving various inputs to films, and his ‘Agent Athreya’ director Swaroop RSJ scored a flop with his second movie, while his ‘Jathiratnalu’ director Anudeep tasted flop as a producer & writer with his next, First Day First Show.

In all these cases, they say that the inputs of these heroes are quite stronger, sensible, and creative too. But then, upcoming directors who want to work with them are now getting scared to join forces with these heroes as they might get overshadowed. At the same time, producers are feeling happy with these heroes because they will be taking care of the content well.
