Director Sudheer Varma is said to be upset with producers of Saakini Daakini. While the film is the official remake of Korean film Midnight Runners, the makers had done some changes to suit the nativity of the Telugu. Unlike the original which has two male protagonists, the Telugu remake has two female protagonists Nivetha Thomas and Regina Cassandra.
During the process of filming, Sudheer is said to be upset with producers owing to creative differences. Producers reportedly made changes based on another writer-director Ananda Ranga’s inputs. This naturally didn’t go well with Sudheer Varma.
Apparently, Sudheer isn’t happy with the changes done from producers end overstepping his responsibility as director. With this, director Sudheer Varma has decided to skip the film’s promotions and disowns the film. Meanwhile, he moved onto his next projects – one with Nikhil Siddhartha and another Ravanasura with Ravi Teja. We have to see whether the producers of Saakini Daakni clarify the rumours about rift with the director.
