Brahmi: We Should Appreciate ‘Mahanubhavudu’ Chiru

“Everyone is discussing the plight of daily wage workers who are dependent on the film industry for their livelihood, but who is going to solve the crisis? Mahanubhavudu Chiranjeevi garu did it”, says legendary comedian Brahmanandam, during his interaction with a Telugu news channel. He hailed Chiru’s efforts through #Corona Crisis Charity.

“While I’m working in the industry from 35 years, Chiranjeevi garu is here for 40 years and he knows the tough situation these workers go through. All of a sudden you cut them their work and say that they will get no livelihood for the next 2-3 months will be a shocker to them. But Chiranjeevi garu’s initiative will be giving them some relief” adds Brahmi.

Through his Chiranjeevi Charitable Trust, Megastar has created Corona Crisis Charity which has collected 6.5+ crores donation already from leading filmstars and other actors of the industry. They are creating Rs 2200+ worth package that will have rice and other essentials and distributing to each family monthly.
