Back in 2009, Avatar was released and created havoc across the world. Eventually, it became the highest grosser at the worldwide box office. Hyderabadis enjoyed watching the film on the huge IMAX screen at Prasads Multiplex.
Now, Avatar 2 is gearing up for release on December 16, 2022. There are exactly 100 days left for the release. But Hyderabadis won’t get a chance to watch it on an IMAX screen because there is Prasads’s large screen is no more an IMAX screen.
But here is good news. The large screen of Prasads is getting revamped in a few days. The screen will be equipped with Dual-laser 4k projection and a Dolby Atmos sound system. We hear that the movie-watching experience will be phenomenal after the screen gets equipped with these technologies.
So, Avatar fans can enjoy watching Avatar: The Way of Water on the large screen in a ‘king-size’ way. Apparently, the large screen will be closed for a few weeks when the renovation works begin.
Directed by James Cameron, Avatar features Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldaña in the lead roles.
