MM Keeravani’s son Simha Koduri made his debut as an actor with the film Mathu Vadalara. The film became a hit but the actor’s second film Tellavarithe Guruvaram flopped at the box office. Now, Simha is coming up with a new film titled Dongalunnaru Jagratha. The makers are promoting the film as the First Survival Thriller in Telugu.
The film unit dropped the trailer today and going by it, Simha is introduced as a thief (Raju) who steals items from the cars parked on the road.
breaks into a specialized car with a special security system that traps him inside. The doors do not open, the control panel does not respond: the car has become a cage and there is no way out. Raju races against time to survive inside while an enemy has complete control over the car. What does the enemy want? Will Raju be able to survive?
The film reminds us of Trapped, which is also a survival thriller, but the lead protagonist is trapped in a house. Here, the lead is trapped in a car. Most of the film’s shoot took place in a specially designed car. To tell a story around this concept is a little tricky, but the trailer hikes curiosity around the film.
The film features Simha Koduri and Samuthirakani in lead roles and is directed by debutante Satish Tripura. Guru Films and Suresh Productions produced the film jointly.
The film is hitting the screens on the 23rd of September.
