Vijay Devarakonda’s Father Begins His Hunt

Before the film “Arjun Reddy” happened, it was said that it is hero Vijay Devarakonda’s father Goverdhan who used to listen to the stories that young directors narrate, and he would pick the best for his son. And that’s how Pellichoopulu has happened. But later on, the hero himself is picking the stories and it looks like the recent turn of events has brought back this doting father into the action again.

For Vijay’s brother Anand, it is Goverdhan who takes care of the scripts, but the elder one always chooses his projects himself after the stupendous success of Pelli Choopulu. And now that he got three big flops in a row including Dear Comrade, World Famous Lover and Liger, the actor is said to be sitting with his father to finalise the next set of scripts he should pick. With Kushi on the sets already, he has now the likes of Indraganti and Harish Shankar narrating stories, but a final call will be taken by his father they say.

More than these star directors, right now Vijay’s father is said to be hunting stories from other young directors too such that his elder son will be delivering a series of blockbusters in the coming days. We have to see how much of this is going to help the hero and what types of films will come up now.
