These days, South Indian films are being received very well by North Indian audiences. We have seen films like Pushpa, RRR, and KGF 2, which became sensational hits in the North.
Many Hindi producers also plan to buy the rights of top South Indian films and release them in North India. If the latest grapevine is anything to go by, Goldmine Films has recently approached King Nagarjuna to acquire the Hindi rights of his upcoming film The Ghost.
Directed by Praveen Sattaru, The Ghost is an action thriller that features Nagarjuna as a cop. It is a universal subject and also has plenty of action elements. These factors are pretty enough for the film to get attention in North India.
On top of that, Nag was recently seen in the Bollywood biggie Brahmastra. He got a brief but important role in the movie. His character as Nandi Astra is also getting praised by many critics and viewers.
So, if The Ghost gets released in Hindi, it may generate a good buzz. Thus, it has to be seen if Nag manages to score a hit in Hindi with the latest boost he got with Brahmastra.
