Dhanush’s Sir gets a release date

Tamil hero Dhanush is all set to make his Telugu debut with Sir. Directed by Venky Atluri of Tholi Prema fame, this movie is a Tamil-Telugu bilingual. The Tamil version has been titled ‘Vaathi’.

The makers have now officially announced the release date of the movie. It is stated that the film will hit the screens worldwide on December 2, 2022, in both Telugu and Tamil.

Dhanush plays the role of a college lecturer in the movie. Reportedly, the film showcases the irregularities that happen in our current education system. The teaser of Sir was released a couple of months ago and it received a good response from the audience.

Dhanush enjoys a good popularity among Telugu audiences and thus, we can expect the film to get good openings across the Telugu states.

Sir features Samyuktha Menon as the female lead. It is being produced by Suryadevara Naga Vamsi and Sai Sowjanya under the banner Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas. GV Prakash is composing the music for it.
