Another two big films from Tollywood are all set for release on OTT platforms. Keerthy Suresh’s Miss India, which is directed by Narendranath and produced by Mahesh Koneru of East Coast Productions is also going to release on digital platform sans theatrical release.
Mahesh has been looking for a good deal from OTT platforms and finally, has bagged the perfect deal to close it. Miss India will release on Netflix and an official date is yet to be announced. This film has Naveen Chandra also and is the second film of Keerthy Suresh which will release on an OTT platform post Penguin.
Sai Dharam Tej and Nabha Natesh’s Solo Brathuke So Better, which is directed by Subbu and produced by BVSN Prasad under Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra Creations. The film was slated for release on May 1. But due to the forced lockdown, the theatres are shut and it couldn’t make it to the theatres at all.
Now, the makers of the film have sold digital, satellite and theatrical rights to Zee at a whopping price. Now whether they will release it on Zee5 or wait for the theatres to open is something we all have to wait to know.
