‘We Don’t Need Another Baahubali’ – Karthi About PS 1

Ponniyin Selvan (PS 1) is on its way to hit the screens on September 30. The Mani Ratnam magnum opus is having a huge talented star cast and the PS 1 brought them all together. The pre-release event of the movie was held last night for the Telugu audience and all the stars graced it.

Speaking about PS 1, actor Karthi said he realizes how great the cinema is when working for a film like this. Karthi further talked about the Baahubali comparisons, saying, ‘We have seen Baahubali and we all liked it. There is no need for another Baahubali. We are born in India and we have a lot of heroes in this land. We have to tell many such stories to our people. ‘

‘Mani Ratnam sir has made this best-selling book from last 70 years into a movie. It is a great opportunity to work with all the stars here. This movie has romance, adventure, and many politics that happened 100 years back. I would like to thank Mani Ratnam and AR Rahman.’ he said. Karthi also recalled Sr NTR for his historical movies and how he say the dialogues with ease.

Vikram, AR Rahman, Aishwarya Rai, and Trisha also spoke about the movie during the event.
