If there is any small budgeted film that has made quite big in 2022 so far, that is none other than Siddhu Jonnalagadda’s “DJ Tillu”. With the film becoming a huge commercial success, the hero has opted out from many other films he’s part of, and started carving out the sequel for the movie. Here’s the catch though.
There is a talk right from the beginning that it is Siddhu who has written and ghost directed the film, but Vimal Krishna is only a name. Making those gossip come true, the director has exited from the sequel of the film right before the shooting, and now the hero himself is directing the movie. However, many wondered if he will be retaining sizzling starlet Neha Shetty as the lead or not, but she was also shown exit door saying that the script gave no such chance to her.
Rumors are now popping up in Film Nagar that Sreeleela is picked up as the leading lady, but she too has exited the film after taking part in the shoot for a couple of days. They say that the actress got disappointed that Neha Shetty hasn’t got any big offers after DJ Tillu opposite big heroes, but is only getting Tier 2 and Tier 3 heroes’ films.
Sreeleela is expecting Dhamaka will be a blockbuster that will open big doors for her, and opted out, some say. At the same time, another rumour has that even ‘Bheemla Nayak’ beauty Samyuktha Menon was supposed to play the leading lady, but she too opted out of the film.
All said and done, DJ Tillu 2 is getting in the news for the exits of the cast and crew, and we have to see who will be there by the time the film releases.
