Megastar Chiranjeevi is one of those and only star heroes in Tollywood right now who is having a lineup of almost four films in a row. Starting with Godfather he has the likes of Waltair Veerayya and Bhola Shankar are getting ready for a release, and another new film is also in the offing as Chiru might team up with a seasoned director for this.
Reports are now mushrooming that happening OTT platform Netflix is now focusing heavily on acquiring big-budgeted Telugu movies as they have seen roaring success with RRR already, while they tasted super success with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo as well earlier.
It is coming out that Netflix already grabbed the digital streaming rights of Megastar’s Godfather, while the producer of Waltair Veerayya was given almost a ₹50 crores deal to give the rights.
In that case, it will be a big boon for producers who are making films with Megastar as a mid-range box office success will also help them heap profits as Netflix itself is contributing to half the money invested.
Along with Chiranjeevi’s movies, Netflix is also eyeing to acquire films of other big stars like Balayya, Nagarjuna and Jr NTR as well.
