I May Not Have The Same Enthusiasm: Chiru On Acharya Failure

A few days back Megastar Chiranjeevi opened up on a public platform on his last movie ‘Acharya.’ He added that content is the ultimate king and if audiences are disappointed, they will not see the movie from the second day.

Yet again Chiru commented on Acharya’s failure and he kind of threw the blame on director Koratala Siva over the result. “The outcome of the film is never in our hands and the result of ‘Acharya’ did not affect me at all. We (Referring to him and Ram Charan) did whatever the director has asked us to do,” said Chiru.

This statement from Chiru suggests that the fault was with the director Koratala Siva and not with him. However Chiru had one regret with ‘Acharya’ result and it is working alongside his son Ram Charan for the first time.

“It was my first film with Charan and it did not work at the box office. Just in case if we work together again, I may not have the same enthusiasm that I had on the sets of Acharya,” stated Chiru.

Megastar made these comments in an interview with Bollywood critic, Anupama Chopra for Film Companion.

Post ‘Acharya’ director Koratala Siva was out of the limelight and he moved on to #NTR30 with Young Tiger Jr. Chiru is now awaiting the release of ‘Godfather’ on October 5th.
