Megastar Chiranjeevi is currently waiting for the result of his new film Godfather. Directed by Mohan Raja, the film is creating a positive buzz in film circles.
The movie is heading for a grand release tomorrow across the world. The makers are planning for a big release in Overseas as well. However, the trade experts say that the USA release is disappointing.
As of now, the advance bookings hint to us at below-par premieres in the USA. The main reason behind this is the lack of a proper plan to release the film in overseas.
In fact, the trade was expecting at least a $500K start given the internal business being done and the added advantage of Salman Khan. But, it looks like it is not going to happen, considering the poor buzz in the USA.
With Ponniyin Selvan performing extremely well in the USA, it is a clear indication that the audiences are ready to watch a film with good content. The presence of Nayanthara may also help Godfather in a big way.
Directed by Mohan Raja, the film is the official remake of the Malayalam hit Lucifer.
