‘The Ghost’ Title Was Not First Choice For Nag?

Published by

Nagarjuna’s The Ghost which was released on Dasara eve got mixed reviews. The action thriller directed by Praveen Sattaru hasn’t met the expectations of action lovers. Amidst this, here is an introspection. Apparently, besides the half-baked content the film’s title failed to reach the masses and thus affected the openings.

The Ghost hasn’t reached the masses, said a source in the trade. The source opined that the title is also very similar to Nag’s previous films Officer and Wild Dog. It can be noted that the Ceded day 1 collection is very nominal.

Meanwhile, we hear that the makers had originally wanted to have Vikram as the title since Nag’s name in the film is Vikram. Even the first look poster with Vikram was readied but later dropped as Kamal Haasan’s multilingual Vikram was already announced.
