SS Rajamouli. The name needs no introduction. He is the director who put Telugu cinema on the international map. He is expanding his horizons with his every film. Today, Rajamouli celebrates his 49th birthday.

Rajamouli started off his career by making commercial flicks. But his love for larger-than-life cinema was first seen in Yama Donga. Later, he scored an industry hit with the reincarnation flick Magadheera. After that, he stunned everyone with his visual spectacle Eega. Magadheera and Eega brought Rajamouli nationwide recognition.

Then came the Baahubali series. With Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali: The Conclusion, Rajamouli became a star across the nation. He got his international recognition with this period epic. Eventually, Baahubali 2 became the highest-grossing Indian film ever.

With his recent film RRR, he broke all boundaries and became an international star director. RRR is a huge hit in the west and is receiving immense love from Hollywood audiences. They are now calling Rajamouli a master filmmaker. They are also rooting for it for the upcoming Oscar Awards. Rajamouli is currently in the USA and is busy with the Oscar campaign.
