While taking part in Karan Johar’s hyped talk show “Koffee With Karan”, Katrina Kaif revealed that she’s now doing a film with the two young heroes, Ishaan Kattar and Siddhant Chaturvedi. While many thought that she would actually come up with a rom-com with them, like two youngsters falling in love with an aged girl, she came up with ghost comedy.
Produced by Farhan Akhtar, Katrina Kaif’s “Phone Bhoot” trailer got released already and it has surprised many. If the trailer is anything to go by, Katrina appears as a sexy ghost who is visible to two young heroes, who actually see ghosts and want to start their careers as ghostbusters. Along with them, she starts a business of helping people get rid of ghosts only with the plan of stopping a dangerous sorcerer (Jackie Shroff) who is using ghosts for bad work. Filled with loads of slapstick comedy, double entendres, Katrina’s sexy screen presence, and the hilarious comedy timing of Ishaan and Siddhanth, the trailer is a laugh riot.
As the film is directed by Gurmeet Singh who has directed many episodes of the popular “Mirzapur” on Amazon Prime, everyone is expecting that this film will become a blockbuster of epic proportions. As Bollywood folks already made a similar genre “Bhool Bhulayaa 2” of Karthik Aryan a big hit this year, trade pundits are expecting even Phone Bhoot will become a smashing hit on November 4th as it releases.
