In recent times, though her own voice is not really impressing the audience as she can’t utter the highs and lows of Telugu words very clearly and loudly, queen bee Samantha Ruth Prabhu is adamant to dub herself for her projects.
Though her Tamil flow is good, somehow we can’t imagine any other voice than singer Chinmayi Sripada dubbing for her in Telugu. But for reasons unknown, Samantha is not letting that happen.
According to the grapevine, the team of “Yashodha” has postponed some new teaser releases and also the release of the film itself, because Samantha hasn’t completed her dubbing work for the movie all these days.
Though the makers wanted Chinmayi to wrap the dubbing, Samantha is said to have insisted that she will do it herself. And after returning from the secret USA trip she is said to have immediately started dubbing for the project in Hyderabad.
One wonders why is Samantha taking up this gamble of experimenting with her own voice towards the fag end of her career. Some say that clashes with Chinmayi are the main reason for this happening and as Samantha wants her voice to be the same in all the languages she is working on right now, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil, she wants to say all the lines herself. Well, let’s see how her own-dubbing is going to impress this time.
