Uff! Meher Ramesh Talks About A Hit-Script

One wonders what goes into the minds of filmmakers when they are coming up with a particular film but the definitely audience won’t think about it while watching a movie. Back then, when Prabhas hasn’t attained any superstardom, he came up with “Billa” movie which worked only in parts. The film just sat top on the list of costly flops Meher Ramesh made alongside Sakthi and Kantri. 

Right now, director Meher Ramesh is making the most of the “Billa” movie now, as the film got re-released in theatres for reasons better known to Prabhas’ fans. While the film disappoints at the box office back then, right now director Meher Ramesh is promoting the movie as a cult classic that is ever made in Tollywood. “Back then Prabhas told me that he doesn’t worry about hit or superhit, but the film should be stylish and terrific. Though I’ve another super-hit story with me, I’ve made Billa at the request of Prabhas such that we will cater a stylish film to the audience” he says. 

No stopping there, Meher Ramesh also added in an interview that he made Billa for the audience who haven’t experienced the movies like Kick and Magadheera. “We’ve made Billa for the audience who haven’t seen any Magadheera or Kick. Only after our Billa was released, those films have come. At that time, audiences enjoyed Billa like anything” he articulated.
