Buzz: Devarakonda’s Project With Star Director Cancelled?

Young hero Vijay Devarakonda gained immense popularity with “Arjun Reddy” and some back-to-back hits like Taxiwala and Geethagovindam have further strengthened his craze. However, many thought that he will become that sought-after pan-India hero with “Liger” but the flop show of that film hit him hard.

Back then, when Vijay Devarakonda is on a high with “Liger”, many thought that he would handpick some big directors post the release of that movie. Though there are no blemishes on his performance in Liger, the poor way of etching the film by Puri Jagan has drastically altered his choices now. While Vijay is getting ready to wrap “Kushi” movie under Siva Nirvana’s direction, he has no star director in the pipeline after that film.

Vijay D was supposed to team up with Sukumar after the release of Liger, but then, Sukumar got busy with Pushpa 2 and hence he took Siva Nirvana’s Kushi movie. But then, with Pushpa, Sukumar rose to new heights and after wrapping Pushpa 2 he wants to do a big pan India movie with a bigger star. As we revealed already, he has met Ram Charan recently and discussed a possible idea for Rangasthalam 2. Even if not that sequel, they are likely to come up with a new film for sure.

With Sukumar getting ready to team up with Charan, now Vijay Devarakonda lost another star director and we have to see who he will pick for his later movie. Buzz has that he signed Gautham Tinnanuri’s story which was actually rejected by Ram Charan earlier.
