Alia Walks Out of RRR, Priyanka In?

Buzz is that, Alia Bhatt has finally opted out of Rajamouli’s ambitious project RRR. The Raazi actress, who has been finding it difficult to allocate dates for RRR due to change in schedules owing to Covid pandemic, is said to have decided to move on and gently conveyed the decision to Rajamouli & Co. With this, Jakkanna & Co are once again hunting for a Bollywood heroine to romance Ram Charan (Sitarama Raju).

The latest we hear is that Rajamouli is considering roping in Priyanka Chopra to pair up with Charan. Since Charan has a good rapport with Priyanka and the duo shared screen space in Zanjeer (Toofan in Telugu), Charan is said to have suggested Priyanka’s name and Rajamouli is also fine with the idea. Buzz is that Rajamouli has approached Priyanka to play the female lead opposite Charan in RRR. Priyanka is yet to give her consent. Talk is that Priyanka would mostly come on board.

Meanwhile, British actress Olivia Morris is going to romance NTR (Bheem) in RRR. Since Rajamouli and family have come out of Covid and developed antibodies and producer Danayya is also recovering fast, makers are planning to hold the shoot soon. Once Priyanka confirms her presence and dates, RRR would go onto floors sometime in Sep.
