It is a fact that Vijay Deverakonda maintained a little low profile post-Liger and the reason is obvious. Vijay’s work for his next film Kushi and the Liger failure must have kept him away from public appearances though he made one or two recently.
The Liger actor attended a fan event yesterday and he tried to show his usual himself to his fans like always. ‘Wherever I go, fans keep saying, ‘Anna, you have to give a comeback. I wanted to tell you, I didn’t go anywhere, I’m right here! I am right f*cking here’, he told the cheering crowd.
This short video byte is going viral now. Vijay Deverakonda opened up earlier about Liger’s failure during the recent movie awards event. He said, ‘We all have good days, we all have not-so-good days, we all have sh**ty days. But irrespective of how we feel, we need to get up. Maybe I didn’t want to be here, taking this award. But I came here and as I speak to you, I promise that I will get the job done for all of you, and you will be entertained. And great cinema will be made. Thank you.’
Liger was hugely hyped and was released in Hindi and Telugu. It turned out to be a colossal flop and it lead to a conflict between the director Puri Jagannath and some distributors.
