Other day, the teaser of Ishaan Khattar and Ananya Panday’s Khaali Peeli is out on YouTube, without any big announcement or hungama. As this film is also heading for a direct OTT release like Sadak 2, looks like the makers are doing a simple launch to avoid unwanted negativity.

While the teaser is high on action, with Ishaan and Ananya doing their best so far, it got 160K views and 7K likes in a day’s time, while 19K people disliked it. Even though the trailer is slick and catchy, these dislikes explain, the mood of the anti-nepotism gang.

While Ishaan Khattar is the second son of Pankaj Kapoor and brother of Shahid Kapoor, Ananya Panday is the daughter of Chunky Panday, as netizens say, the most ‘nepotism’ film ever made in Bollywood. That’s the reason a horde of negative comments are being showered on the teaser. But then, the film is well-made we must say like a heist thriller, though story and premise are not new.
