In Search Of Star Heroine For “Mangalavaram”

Whether that is for his speech at the pre-release event that lovers of regular stories shouldn’t come to watch his film, or because of the story’s primary twist of a girl cheating on a boy for sex, or that of Payal Rajput’s ravishing glamour, “RX100” has become a runaway hit. But then, director Ajay Bhupathi became a one-film wonder in the meantime.

Though the filmmaker claimed big about his second project, and changed a lot of heroes from Raviteja to Nithin to Ram, to finally settling down with Sharwanand and Siddharth, the film “Mahasamudram” is not only routine to the core but ended up as a damp squib at the box office. That leads to big heroes not showing interest to work with him. However, the director is said to have finally readied his next project.

Tentatively titled ‘Mangalavaram’, Ajay Bhupathi’s next happens to be a female centric movie and he is trying for some big heroines to become part of it. While he thought of doing that with Samantha, the actress is not in the mood or condition to take up this film. Reports are coming that the RX100 director is in search of a starlet like Pooja Hegde or Rashmika Mandanna to don the lead role. Let’s see when will this film goes to sets, thereby giving huge relief to the director.
