Waltair Veerayya & Veera Simha Reddy
Both the big films, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s Waltair Veerayya and Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy are getting released on the eve of Sankranthi 2023. And there are huge discussions regarding this after big producer Ashwini Dutt commented that Mythri Movie Makers are releasing two films at the same time and if they are worried about screens, they should stop one movie’s release.
The whole thing blew up as ace producer Dil Raju decided to release Vijay’s Varasudu and Ajith’s Thunivu for Sankranthi 2023. While the likes of Allu Arvind and Ashwini Dutt are supporting him, other small producers from the Council are saying that Dil Raju should refrain from doing this. But what is the mood of the public over these acts of Film folks? One wonders if the public is not looking into it, but actually, they are more aware of things.
Some movie lovers are saying that no matter how many films are released for Sankranthi, it’s the content that matters and only if they get a positive talk on Day 1, those films will sustain. Others are saying that if Telugu producers have guts, then they should dub Waltair Veerayya and Veerasimha Reddy into Tamil, and try to get a huge number of theatres in Tamilnadu as well for the Sankranthi 2023 release.
In the wake of director Linguswamy’s warning that the Telugu industry has to face consequences if theatres are not given to Varisu and Thunivu, why can’t we plan the release of these two biggies in Tamil and do a similar challenge? is what the public is asking right now. Well, that’s the mood we have to say!
