YCP MP On Liquor Scam: It’s South vs North Issue

YSRCP MP Magunta Srinivasula Reddy has responded to the Delhi liquor scam and his name being mentioned under South Group. Reacting to the media’s questions, Magunta said it is an attack of North businessmen on South businessmen.

Magunta made it clear that he has no role in the Delhi liquor scam and its excise policy. He alleged that some North businessmen are conspiring against South businessmen and framing them wantedly. He said all truths will come out soon.
Already, TRS leaders alleged the role of BJP in the whole issue. TRS alleged that the Centre is behind the scam and dragging AAP and TRS to target them. However, YSRCP leader Magunta 

Earlier, Aurobindo Pharma Director Sarath Chandra Reddy was arrested in connection with the case. Sarath Reddy also has a direct connection with the YSRCP as he is the elder brother of Rohit Reddy who is the son-in-law of Vijay Sai Reddy. 

While Magunta tried to colour the whole issue as North Vs South, the reality looked otherwise. Several leaders of AAP were named in the investigation reports by the central agencies.

In the remand report of businessman Amit Arora, a close associate of Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia, it is reported that the South Group comprising Kavitha, Sarath Reddy and Magunta Srinivasula Reddy had paid Rs 100 Crore kickbacks to SH Vijay Nair on behalf of AAP.
