‘Producer’ Nani on cloud nine

Natural Star Nani worked hard to make a name for himself in the film industry. Having started his career as an apprentice, Nani emerged as one of the bankable stars in Telugu cinema currently. At some point, he even turned into a producer. Currently, the ‘producer’ Nani is happy when compared to the ‘actor’ Nani.

On the acting front, Nani’s last hit is Shyam Singha Roy released last year. Before that, he tasted flops with Tuck Jagadish and V. Even Ante Sundaraniki, which was released this year, failed to become a commercial success. So, Nani is betting high on his next film Dasara, to witness success.

However, on the production front, Nani seems to be enjoying flying colors. His debut production venture, ‘Awe’ resulted in decent profits that helped him to attempt a second film. Titled HIT, the film also brought a good name along with profits.

Very recently, Nani came up with a third film Meet Cute, marking his sister’s debut as a director. The film was sold for OTT, and it is a profitable venture in terms of revenue. However, it is the new film HIT 2 that made Nani’s position as a producer concrete.

HIT 2 minted a big revenue which is more than the collective revenue of his last three production ventures. The film is doing well in the Telugu states as well as Overseas. There are a lot of inquiries coming in, from other languages, for both remake and dubbing. Everything is just getting added to profits.

Although Nani is moving on a dull note acting-wise, he is unstoppable as a producer!
