Did Powerstar Sign Only For Election’s Sake? 

At a time when the films in hand are not getting completed, Powerstar Pawan Kalyan has surprised his fans as his new film under ’Saaho’ director Sujith’s direction got announced. It is coming out that PK might come up with another announcement too apart from Harish Shankar’s film. Here’s the catch however. 

Many times, Pawan has openly stated that he’s running ‘Janasena’ not from any funds he got as donations or any other investments by big businessmen and industrialists, but he is spending every single paisa from his pocket. Looks like just before the 2024 election, Pawan has taken up a couple of more projects because he would get a lumpsum money as advance. That way he would get funds in hand to spend on the party activities. 

However, just before the 2019 election, Pawan signed Mythri Movie Makers and AM Ratnam as well and is said to have taken the whole of his remuneration as advance. While his film with Ratnam, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is still in production, the one with Mythri hasn’t even started till now. This is the film that was supposed to be directed by Harish Shankar which is titled Bhavadeeyudu Bhagat Singh. Even at that time, similar rumours have popped up.
