Here’s What Rajamouli Said About Kantara

Everyone is looking forward to what would legendary filmmaker SS Rajamouli say about the runaway hit “Kantara” which made a humongous ₹400 crores collection from across the box office.

At a time when big budgeted wonders like Baahubali 2, RRR and KGF 2 did the unthinkable, Kantara stood tall amongst them, showing the power of content. Here’s what Rajamouli has to say about it. 

“You don’t need a big scale film to do the big numbers and Kantara proved that even a small film like it could do. As an audience it is exciting, but for filmmakers, it is nerve-wracking, and we need to check what we are doing and what others are” said Rajamouli, during his pep-talk at Directors Roundtable 2022 with noted film critic Anupama Chopra.

While the full interview of this event is yet to release, Rajamouli’s clip where he spoke about Kantara is currently going viral across the internet. 

It is coming out that Rajamouli hailed Kantara for collecting at par with RRR movie when compared to the budget at which he made his magnum opus.

That coming from the legendary director is surely a big thing and more than the crores of rupees collection Kantara made, this appreciation from Rajamouli would surely make Rishab Shetty and Hombale Films pretty happy.
