The biggest problem for ‘Uppena’ director Buchi Babu’s second film is that the director is giving a big budget sheet to the producers. And while the director is busy convincing the producers about the budgets, mega hero Ram Charan is said to have given the twist to him.
Back then, when Mythri Movie Makers thought that they will wrap Uppena in under ₹5 crores, they ended up spending nearly ₹20 crores over it, if reports are to be believed. And now, Buchi Babu is said to have come up with an estimate of more than a couple of 100s of crores, for his next with Ram Charan, which was announced recently.
Charan is said to have now asked Buchi Babu to spend a few lakhs from the producer’s pocket first, to get the pre-visualisation of the film done.
It would be done with handmade storyboards, computer-generated graphics and some other techniques to get the visual ideas of the film woven together like a movie. After looking at this pre-viz, Charan and the Producers want to take a call on the film’s final budget.
Right now, Buchi Babu is said to be sitting with a noted VFX company in Hyderabad to get the pre-viz of #RC16 done.
