After Hindus, Muslims Upset With ‘Pathaan’

Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is currently working on a prestigious film titled Pathaan. Siddharth Anand is the film’s director, and the film’s teaser is already out. The film has already attracted controversy because of the Besharam Rang song. Many Hindu associations raised objections over the presentation of the song.

Deepika Padukone was criticized for wearing outfits that were revealing, and one of the outfits that she wore is of saffron color, and it also attracted controversy. BJP party members also made shocking comments on the song.

Shah Rukh Khan recently reacted to the trolls on social media and made his stand clear that he would not care about everything that’s happening on social media. Meanwhile, the Muslim board also made comments against Shah Rukh Khan.

Madhya Pradesh Ulama Board raised severe objections against the film. The board claimed that the film carries many objectionable scenes and on the top of that, they choose to have ‘Pathaan’ as the title for the film. The Ulama board objected the same.

“The Pathans are one of the most respectable Muslim communities. Not just the Pathans but the entire Muslim community is being defamed in this film. The name of the film is Pathan and women are seen performing obscene dances in it. Pathans are being portrayed wrongly in the film,” the board said.

“Changes need to be made, failing which we will take a call on whether the film should be screened in Madhya Pradesh,” revealed the Muslim board.
