Hollywood filmmaker Christopher Nolan is known for coming up with visual and beautifully-written spectacles like The Prestige, Inception, Batman Trilogy, Dunkirk, Interstellar and Tenet. He is now coming back with his new outing Oppenheimer.
Starring Cillian Murphy in the lead role, this thriller is based on the life of American physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer, who invented the atomic bomb. The makers dropped the first trailer of the film on the internet a few hours ago.
Going by the trailer, Oppenheimer looks like an intriguing thriller that revolves around a troubled yet brilliant scientist. It explores the story of Robert Oppenheimer, who had to risk destroying the world in order to save it. The visuals captured by the IMAX cameras are breathtaking. Nolan once again proved that no one can match his films’ visuals.
After watching the trailer, one would definitely want to watch the film in theatres. Oppenheimer features Emily Blunt, Robert Downey Jr, Matt Damon, Rami Malek and Florence Pugh in pivotal roles.
Ludwig Göransson composed the music for it. Hoyte van Hoytema handled the cinematography. This film is slated for a grand release on July 21, 2023.
