Unexpected Craze For 36-Year-Old Heroine In Tollywood 

Back in the day, 30+ aged heroines were considered to be almost retired from the industry. But now, the reigning queens like Pooja Hegde (32), Samantha (35), Deepika Padukone (36), and Shraddha Kapoor (35) are this 30+ brigade only and they are doing amazingly well. And here comes this 36-year-old siren who is about to find her lost stardom. 

At a time when both Samantha and Shruti Haasan are rising up as superstars in their careers, they used to do big films equally. However, while Samantha started doing back-to-back biggies, Shruti picked up odd movies and then left films altogether for a music career along with the-then boyfriend in London.

That has ended her stardom abruptly. But now in 2023, she is going to start with a bang as she got Chiru’s Waltair Veerayya and Balayya’s Veerasimha Reddy lined up. She then has Superstar Prabhas’ Salaar coming up for a release. That’s not all. 

With Shruti Haasan back in the game, and Samantha taking a break, many big producers from the South who are actually looking forward to a big starlet are said to be approaching Shruti Haasan only for the leading lady’s role.

At the same time, with the likes of Pooja Hegde and Rashmika Mandanna getting costlier, for many of them, Shruti became the next immediate best option. Surely this is unexpected craze.
