Why Is RRR Missing From Netflix Top Charts? 

Like how Telugu producers release Box Office numbers to woo fans, even the streaming giant Netflix releases the top watched movies list and fans are getting into a fight mode if they don’t find their favourite movie. That’s what happened with the admirers of “RRR” the other day as the OTT platform released the list of most watched movies and series in English and non-English in the first 28 days. 

While RRR topped the charts in almost 60 countries after its release on Netflix and how the campaign done by Netflix resulted in reaching ’The Academy’ today, many would expect the film in the Top 10 Non-English Top Viewed films globally in 2022. But the chart has names like, Troll (1st place), All Quiet On the Western Front (4th), Below Zero (8th) and My Name Is Vendetta (10th place), but RRR is not present. Upset by this, fans are trolling Netflix big time on social media. 

However, the fact is that RRR got international attention only after it was released on Netflix and that means, the film became the favourite of the Western audience as time passed so there is no way it would get shocking viewing minutes. But then, it has stood at 1st place in many countries, because the audience might have picked it up on the first launch whenever they came to the app. Otherwise, we have to see what would Netflix say about RRR’s absence from these charts.
