The silent tiff between Rishab and Rashmika was first opened out to the world in Rishab Shetty’s exclusive interview with Gulte.com post-Kantara success. When asked about which actress among Samantha, Rashmika, and Sai Pallavi he would like to team up with, Rishab showed the air quotes in a satirical way to mention ‘so-called’ actresses he would not like to work with.
Well, it was later known that Rashmika Mandanna actually started it in an interview much earlier. When asked about her debut movie Kirrik Party, Rashmika was reluctant to mention the production house and Rishab Shetty. She instead used air quotes to avoid taking the name of the production house. The dots are now being connected and it escalated into a bigger topic when Rashmika said she did not watch Kantara.
Speculations grew up that Rashmika is on the verge of being banned from the Kannada industry and before the controversy went down, her recent comments on South films’ ‘Masala’ and ‘Item’ songs put her back in headlines.
The cold war between Rashmika and Rishab is making it to the news more than often. Today, Rishab Shetty tweeted about the Kirrik Party movie’s sixth anniversary and he clearly avoided tagging Rashmika Mandanna. It looks like the cold war between Rashmika and Rishab continues with air quotes, not tagging, and much more.
