Hero Srikanth who appeared as an antagonist in Akhanda has been doing different roles in upcoming movies and Vijay-Vamshi Paidipally’s Vaarasudu is one among them.
Srikanth starts his journey in Tamil with Vaarasudu. “This is the first time in my career to do a Tamil film. I played Vijay’s brother in this movie which is an out-and-out family entertainer. It will have feel-good emotions and the movie will be like a visual wonder. Rashmika Mandanna, Jayasudha, Kick Shyam, Sarathkumar, Sangeetha, Prabhu… all of them have done films in Telugu, so it is like a film with full Telugu nativity.”
When asked whether his character is of a positive of negative nature, Srikanth affirms, “The movie contains the emotions that happen between brothers. Vamshi Paidipally’s movies have great emotions. I’m happy to be part of the movie and delighted to make my Tamil debut with a Vijay starrer.”
Srikanth calls Vamshi Paidipally a perfectionist. “Vamshi Paidipally is a director with clarity. There is a lot of perfection in the making. He doesn’t compromise on anything to give superior experience to the audience.”
Interestingly, this is Srikanth’s maiden movie under Dil Raju and Sirish’s Sri Venkateswara Creations banner. “Although I have been in the industry for many years, this is the first time I’m doing a film under Dil Raju’s production. Also, I am doing a very different character in Shankar’s film.”
Srikanth also says Vaarasudu is a perfect festival kind of movie for Sankranthi.
