Finally the much awaited trailer of Dil Raju’s “Vaarasudu” has come out other day. Featuring Ilayathalapathy Vijay in the lead, this film marks the debut of Vamsi Paidipally in Tamil and producer Dil Raju is so confident that they have carved a terrific movie. While the whole camp of the producer is going gaga over the trailer, one wonders what the audience is really thinking about it.
Dil Raju has earlier claimed that Mahesh and Ram Charan are the original heroes they thought for this story, but after they are unable to adjust dates owing to their prior commitments, Vijay got into the picture. However, going by the trailer one could understand why Mahesh and Charan have decided to pass it on. The film’s story is nothing but a superb remix of subjects like Alaa Vaikuntapurramlo, S/o Satyamurthy and Agnyaathavasi. Even the latest Dhamaka is also on the same lines, while Nithin’s Bheeshma is also similar. One wonders what made Dil Raju choose this commercial subject.
Telugu folks are of the feeling that Dil Raju has been promoting the film aggressively and making controversial statements all these days because he knows for a fact that the film has a pretty routine story, which is a mega ‘pulihora’ derived from so many Telugu biggies. Not even in a single frame we get the feeling that Vamsi Paidipally has come up with something interesting. That’s the public talk right now. Varasudu is hitting cinemas on January 11th.
