Veera Simha Reddy
When Balayya’s Sankranthi big release “Veera Simha Reddy” trailer dropped, one particular dialogue made all the fuss. “Nuvvu Santhakam pedithey board meeda peru maaruthundemo gaani, aa charitra shrustinchina vaadi peru maaradu, maarchaleru” which literally translates to, “Your sign might change the name on the board but it can never change the history the name created”. This is a straight punch to AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy who recently changed the name of NTR Health University to YSR Health University.
The trailer also indicated that such punches and digs are in a huge number in the film too. As the movie released today, this expectation has been reached as there are a significant amount of such dialogues. Although the name of the party or Jagan isn’t mentioned anywhere in the movie, the dialogues are cleverly written so as to target YCP Government.
In one of the scenes, Balayya goes to meet the Home Minister. The Home Minister says, “Can’t you see the development we did?” to which Veera (Balayya) responds saying, “What development? It is called development when you do welfare to people, not torture them. It is called development when you open new institutions not close them. It’s called development when you make new buildings not destroy them. It’s called development when you give salary on time and not force people to beg you for that”.
In another dialogue, Balayya says, “It’s our obligation to respect people’s mandate even if they have elected unfit people”.
Such dialogues have caused much stir in the state now. How YSRCP fans and members will react to this sort of on-face punches is much awaited.
